Chair Michael Jones called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m. PUBLIC COMMUNICATION a. Martin Jones addressed the Commission to provide an update on activity at the Austin Film Society. 1. NEW BUSINESS a. Update on Mueller POA Financial Sustainability Plan: In his role as Mueller Property Owner Association President Brian Dolezal (Catellus) provided updates on the Mueller POA budget planning process and expected next steps. b. Mueller Development Update (Catellus): Brian Dolezal (Catellus) provided brief updates regarding current business development and parkland openings in the Mueller Development. c. 2021 Annual Report Work Session: Commissioners discussed topics to include in the 2021 Annual Report and next steps for drafting and approval. 1 d. RMMA PIAC Residency Requirements: Commissioners discussed Ordinance No. 20150507-023 relating to the residency requirements for service on the Robert Mueller Municipal Airport Plan Implementation Advisory Commission (RMMA PIAC). i. The Commission approved to recommend to council to remove the residency requirements included in Ordinance No. 20150507-023 on Commissioner Krivoniak’s motion and Commissioner Jones’s second on a 4-3 vote. Commissioners Hyde, Hilliard, and Ronsonette voted nay. Commissioner Neider abstained. Commissioners Lima, Martin, and Sokolic were absent. 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES a. Minutes from the April 12, 2022 meeting were approved on Commissioner Hyde’s motion and Commissioner Luecke’s second on an 8-0 vote. Commissioners Lima, Martin, and Sokolic were absent. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS a. The Commissioners and staff discussed the following list of potential future agenda items: i. Annual Report ii. Austin Energy Sustainability Updates The Commissioners were asked to provide Chairman Jones with potential future agenda items. NEXT MEETING ADJOURN a. The next regularly scheduled meeting is June 14, 2022. The meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m. without objection. 2

Update on AISD Middle School at Mueller (AISD): Jeremy Striffler and Shashank Singh (AISD) provided an update on the current designs and construction timelines related to the AISD Middle School at Mueller. b. Mueller Development Update (Catellus): Brian Dolezal (Catellus) provided updates regarding several transportation improvements related to pedestrian and bicycle safety, and traffic control. Additionally, provided updates regarding commercial construction, recent openings, and events. c. Nominations and Election of Officers: Commissioners took nominations and held elections for the following officers: i. Commissioners approved the override of term limits related to the election of officers on Commissioner Luecke’s motion and Commissioner Sokolic’s second on a 9-0 vote. Commissioners Hilliard and Martin were absent. 1 ii. Combined with an action to override the term limits, Commissioner Jones was voted Chair and Commissioner Krivoniak was voted Vice-Chair on Commissioner Luecke’s nomination and Commissioner Hyde’s second on a 9-0 vote. Commissioners Hilliard and Martin were absent. 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES a. Minutes from the March 8, 2022 meeting were approved on Commissioner Krivoniak’s motion and Commissioner Sokolic’s second on an 9-0 vote. Commissioners Hilliard and Martin were absent. Joe Freeland addressed the Commission regarding the financial sustainability of the Mueller Property Owner’s Association (POA). 2. NEW BUSINESS a. Update on Teachers Retirement System Relocation (TRS): Andrew Roth, Carolyn Perez, Martin Cano, and Kellie Sauls (Teachers Retirement System) provided an overview of TRS and updates on the relocation and development plans for the new TRS buildings at Mueller. b. Mueller Development Update (Catellus): Brian Dolezal (Catellus) provided updates on construction activity, business announcements, and planned parking infrastructure. c. RMMA PIAC Residency Requirements: Commissioners discussed Ordinance No. 20150507-023 relating to the residency requirements for service on the Robert Mueller Municipal Airport Plan Implementation Advisory Commission (RMMA PIAC). No action was taken. 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES a. Minutes from the November 9, 2021 meeting were approved on Commissioner Sokolic’s motion and Commissioner Hilliard’s second on an 7-0 vote. Commissioners Lima, Luecke, and Ronsonette were absent. 1 FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS a. The Commissioners and staff discussed the following list of potential future agenda items: i. ii. Survey of Public Parking Spaces Schedule of activities and ownership for Mueller Parks iii. Parking and Transportation Management District Updates, including any Residential Parking Permit Expansion iv. Update on POA Financial Sustainability Plan v. UT lease site update vi. Update on green initiatives and ecological goals for Mueller vii. Update on multi-bedroom affordable housing options at Mueller viii. Discussion on Commission membership residency requirements ix. Affordable housing rental rate issues for seniors The Commissioners were asked to provide Chairman Jones with potential future agenda items. a.
