Has the city addressed this trend in historic neighborhoods? Once they’re gone they’re gone for good. There are three permits to demolish houses on the East side of the 3200 block of Funston!! This drastic tear down of older homes is not in keeping with the Old West Austin Historic District, Bryker Woods, or Funston St. This block has deed restrictions to single-story homes, and all three of the newer homes are two-story+.
