COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION (CDC) MEETING May 12, 2026 – 6:30 PM AUSTIN CITY HALL, BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS - ROOM 1101 301 W 2ND STREET, 78701 AUSTIN, TEXAS Some members of the CDC may be participating by videoconference. The meeting may be viewed online at: http://www.austintexas.gov/page/watch-atxn-live Public comment will be allowed in-person or remotely via telephone. Speakers may only register to speak on an item once either in-person or remotely and will be allowed up to three minutes to provide their comments. Registration no later than noon the day before the meeting is required for remote participation by telephone. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. Approve the minutes of the CDC Regular meetings held on March 10, 2026, and April 14, 2026. STAFF BRIEFINGS 2. Staff briefing regarding Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) activities and outcomes. Presentation by Angel Zambrano, Program Manager III, Austin Public Health. PUBLIC HEARING 3. Public Hearing on Needs Assessment for Annual Action Plan. Public Hearing held by Veronica Samo, Public Information and Marketing Program Manager, and Julie Smith, Community Engagement Specialist, Austin Housing. DISCUSSION ITEMS 4. Presentation on the report and findings set to be considered by the Infrastructure Working Group. Discussion led by Commissioner Tiffany Moore. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS 5. Election of Community Development Commission Vice Chair. Election will be held by the presiding officer. WORKING GROUP UPDATES 6. Update from the CDC Strategy Working Group.
