This is a revisit for a very small change in acreage; the merits of the case have not changed. We would agree to a postponement to August 18th. We will not agree to a postponement that impacts the City Council date that was agreed to by both parties. The Circle C community only recently learned that Stratus amended its application with regard to the access point at Dahlgreen Lane. The basis for my request is that the notices have not been received by the impacted residents, signage announcing the hearing has not been posted, and the Circle C HOA has not had a chance to communicate its stance to the residents. The next open Board meeting is July 29th. This leaves too little time for residents to act and decide on next steps — including gathering signatures for a protest petition. Additionally, because so many families travel during the summer, many of the impacted residents desiring to sign the protest petition will be unable to because they are not in town. The short runway for this new hearing is inequitable for the impacted residents and prevents them from having their voices heard in this matter. I respectfully ask that the hearing be rescheduled to no earlier than September 15, 2026 — after residents return from summer travel, the start of school settles down, and the Labor Day holiday has passed. The city’s website lists 6–7 weeks as the typical turnaround from request to hearing; I’m requesting one additional week to account for Labor Day. If September 15 isn’t possible, please let me know. Thank you for your consideration. Warm regards, Lisa Lyons 06 C14-2025-0064 - Circle C Tract 110; District 84 of 4
