My clients are not opposed to and could even support the rezoning so long as the applicant and developer of the Property work with the City Staff to ensure that there is no adverse flooding impact on my clients’ properties. There is a history of flooding on the west side of McNeil Drive near Blackfoot Trail. This flooding was addressed by the City installing a stormwater drain under and along the west side of McNeil Drive, but my clients are concerned that flooding would become an issue again if the City does increase the size of the drain to offset any future increase to the amount of impervious cover as part of the redevelopment of the overall Property (not just on Lot 11, which is in a different watershed than the western portion of the Property). Thank you for your consideration of this issue. Sincerely, Micah King HB: 4812-2256-4089.1
