An integral part of the ARR’s Comprehensive Plan is to reduce the amount of trash sent to landfills by 90 percent by the year 2040. These contracts will produce new strategies for managing, reducing and eliminating waste, facility and infrastructure planning, workforce planning, and implementing aspects of the comprehensive plan. These are new contracts and a new initiative.
