Additional Backup Information: The contract will provide all dumpsters/containers, staff, labor, vehicles, and equipment for trash, recycling, and composting collection services in the alleys of the Downtown Central Business District, per the requirements from City Council under Ordinance No. 20051020-063. In addition to collection services, the contractor will provide services for daily cleanup and maintenance in all the alleys in the service area. The contractor will also cover additional collection needs for special events held in the Downtown Central Business District. The current contract expires on September 3, 2020. The requested authorization amount was determined using a departmental estimate based on historical spend and future usage. The recommended contractor is the current provider for these services.
