Council is scheduled to adopt the budget on August 11, 2021. The City Code in Section 15-9-3 specifically requires a public hearing prior to the City Council approving any changes in electric, water, wastewater, and garbage collection rates. Austin Water has not proposed water or wastewater service rate changes for FY 2021-2022.
