Robert Mueller Municipal Airport Plan Implementation Advisory Commission Meeting May 11, 2021 Robert Mueller Municipal Airport Plan Implementation Advisory Commission to be held May 11, 2021 with Social Distancing Modifications Public comment will be allowed via telephone; no in-person input will be allowed. All speakers must register in advance (Monday, May 10, 2021 by noon). All public comment will occur at the beginning of the meeting. To speak remotely at the 05/11/21 Robert Mueller Municipal Airport Plan Implementation Advisory Commission Meeting, members of the public must: •Call or email the board liaison at 512-974-6415 or matt.schmidt@austintexas.gov no later than noon, (the day before the meeting). The information required is the speaker name, item number(s) they wish to speak on, whether they are for/against/neutral, and a telephone number or email address (must be the same number that will be used to call into the meeting). • Once a request to speak has been made to the board liaison, the information to call on the day of the scheduled meeting will be provided either by email or phone call. •Speakers must call in at least 15 minutes prior to meeting start in order to speak, late callers will not be accepted and will not be able to speak. •Speakers will be placed in a queue until their time to speak. •Handouts or other information may be emailed to matt.schmidt@austintexas.gov by Noon the day before the scheduled meeting. Commission Members in Attendance: Tuesday, May 11, 2021 • Michael Jones, Chair • Rick Krivoniak, Vice-Chair • Corky Hilliard • Christopher Jackson Staff in Attendance: • Martin Luecke • David Neider • Kenneth Ronsonette • Kathy Sokolic • Susana Carbajal, Economic Development Department • Pam Hefner, EDD • Jill Fagan, EDD • Matthew Schmidt, EDD CALL TO ORDER a. Chair Michael Jones called the meeting to order at 6:04 p.m. CITIZENS COMMUNICATION 1. NEW BUSINESS a. Section 11 Update/Diversity of Housing Types: Jim Adams (McCann Adams Studio) and Brian Dolezal (Catellus) provided an update regarding residential affordability goals and the variety of residential offerings in the Mueller Development. Mr. Dolezal provided details to the residential development in Section 11 of the Mueller Development. b. Mueller Illustrative Plan Update: Jim Adams (McCann Adams Studio) and Brian Dolezal (Catellus) provided a preview of development updates to the Mueller Illustrative Plan. c. Mueller Development Update: Brian Dolezal (Catellus) provided updates regarding residential, retail, and additional commercial developments in the Mueller area, as well as an update on landscaping improvements. d. 2020 Annual Report Work Session: Commissioners discussed topics to include in the 2020 Annual Report and next steps for draft and approval. 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1 a. Minutes from the April 13, 2021 meeting were approved on Commissioner Krivoniak’s motion and Commissioner Luecke’s second on an 8-0 vote. Commissioner Lima was absent. a. The Commissioners were asked to provide Chairman Jones with potential future agenda items. 3. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS 4. NEXT MEETING ADJOURN a. The next regularly scheduled meeting is June 8, 2021. The meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m. without objection. 2
