AGENDAS. (A) Two or more board members may place an item on the agenda by oral or written request to the staff liaison at least seven business days before the meeting. From Austin City Clerk’s Office to Austin Energy. The commissioner noted that an item requested by the commission was not added to an agenda by staff. I’m not sure who refused the request but as a gentle reminder, under the bylaws, the commission may place discussion or action items on its agenda as long as the request meets the requirements: at least two members support the request, and it is submitted at least seven days in advance. Austin City Charter § 16. - CODE OF ORDINANCES. Most RMC members would have probably supported the renewable energy projects. 2. But at least some would have asked hard questions about the battery projects. 3. And AE seems averse to hard questions. The map is from our Commission’s resolution earlier this year showing how Austin Energy’s more regressive rates hurt poorer City Council Districts. And the 2027 electric rate structure is more progressive because of RMC’s resolution earlier this year.
