Public comment will be allowed in-person or remotely via telephone. Speakers may only register to speak on an item once either in-person or remotely and will be allowed up to three minutes to provide their comments. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. Approve the minutes of the Joint Inclusion Committee regular meeting on June 24, 2026. STAFF BRIEFINGS 2. Briefing regarding the Officer-Involved Shooting Dashboard. Briefing by Sara Peralta, Public Information and Marketing Program Manager, and Crystal Kimbrough, Policy Compliance Consultant, Austin Police Oversight. DISCUSSION ITEMS 3. 4. Discussion regarding the status of previously approved bylaw amendments and the potential for future amendments. Discussion on actions taken, discussion held, and staff briefings received by JIC member commissions at their recent meetings. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS 5. Approve a recommendation for Inclusion of Infrastructure Equity and Medical Resilience in the Pilot Knob Library & Austin Resilience Network Project. WORKING GROUP UPDATES 6. 7. Update from the Community Engagement Working Group regarding its progress and planned community engagement activities for the remainder of FY2026. Update from the FY2026-27 Budget Follow-Up Working Group regarding its progress on tracking this year’s budget recommendations.
