Austin Energy Headquarters Mueller Assembly Room 1111a 4815 Mueller Blvd, Austin, TX 78723 Special Called Commission Meeting MEETING AGENDA This meeting will be conducted in-person only, no hybrid or virtual option will be provided. Public comment will be allowed in-person. Speakers must register in advance (on or before September 9th by 12pm-Noon). All public comments will occur at the beginning of the meeting and public speakers will be allowed up to three minutes to provide their comments. To speak or attend in-person, residents must contact the Equity Office’s Commission/Neighborhood Liaison, Jeremy Garza, no later than 12pm-noon on Friday, September 9th, 2022. Discussion on recommendations for how to start the Quality-of-Life Study process for the remaining bodies of the Joint Inclusion Committee (which include: Commission on Immigrant Affairs, Commission on Seniors, Commission for Women, Early Childhood Council, and Human Rights Commission). 8. 9. Discussion and possible action on establishing a workgroup for Quality-of-Life Studies and empowering those appointed commissioners to make decisions about the Quality-of- Life Studies on behalf of the Joint Inclusion Committee. Discussion and possible action on developing a collective strategy about conducting the Quality-of-Life Studies over the next fiscal year, and discussion about how open to collaboration each commission is on developing studies together.
