PR-2026-008188 – 1005 E. 8th St. Robertson/Stuart & Mair Local Historic District Council District 1 Proposal: Demolish a contributing building. (Postponed by applicant on July 1, 2026) Applicant: Robbie MacGregor City Staff: Austin Lukes, Historic Preservation Office, 512-978-0766 Staff Recommendation: Consider backup provided to determine need for total demolition versus opportunity for partial demolition or repair to the damaged existing structure. If more information or discussion is needed, postpone the public hearing to the September 2, 2026 Historic Landmark Commission meeting. HR-2026-090085 – 4412 Avenue B Hyde Park Local Historic District Council District 9 Proposal: Rehabilitate the exterior of a contributing building and construct a rear addition. SP-2025-096242 – 2406 Rosewood Ave. Rosewood Elementary School Council District 1 Proposal: Remodel and construct an addition to Rosewood Elementary School. Applicant: Blayne Stansberry City Staff: Kalan Contreras, Historic Preservation Office, 512-974-2727 Staff Recommendation: Approve the partial demolition and addition application, as well as proposed rehabilitation, upon completion of a City of Austin Documentation Package.
