There are no protections written into the current plans posted to protect this tree. The plans as currently posted show a concrete driveway being installed from the street to the house. We feel like the impervious cover of the planned driveway will negatively affect this tree. (It is a gravel driveway currently.) Also, if there needs to be digging done for a replacement of the gas line and meter that is sitting where the house is to be expanded to the south, we would like the critical root zone of this tree to be considered and protections shown on the plans before any digging takes place. Air spade? We do not see a tree review in the Austin Build and Connect site as part this project. Due to the lack of planned protections for this tree, we must formally object to this project.
