The applicant has amended the design to incorporate Committee and neighborhood feedback, increasing upper-story setbacks, reconstructing the iconic but deteriorated storefront elevation in-kind, and retaining the mural and non-deteriorated brickwork at the secondary elevation. Alternatively, postpone the public hearing to invite the applicant to the Architectural Review Committee to discuss alternatives to total demolition.
