MULCHING when tree fencing cannot incorporate the entire available full cr(cid:90), an (cid:24) inch layer of shredded hardwood mulch within the entire available root (cid:90)one is re(cid:81)uired for all protected trees which have any disturbance (cid:8)including access pathways(cid:9) indicate within their cr(cid:90). if heavy e(cid:81)uipment will be rolling over the mulched root (cid:90)one, filter fabric between soil and mulch is re(cid:81)uired. on top of the mulch, (cid:74)ob site can lay breathable mats or plywood sheets to create a wor(cid:75) surface that can be easily rolled over when natural ground cover is not present to maintain soil moisture during construction, a 3 inch layer of shredded hardwood mulch inside cr(cid:90) fencing is re(cid:81)uired. do not pile mulch directly against tree trun(cid:75)s. ACCESS all access to the build shall be area shown on the attached site plan. all material staging, spoils, concrete washout, dumpster and portable toilet locations shall be located with the "staging area" shown on the plot plan.
