REGULAR MEETING of the PRESERVATION PLAN COMMITTEE of the HISTORIC LANDMARK COMMISSION TUESDAY, OCTOBER 18 – 11:00 A.M. STREET-JONES BUILDING, ROOM 400A 1000 E. 11TH STREET AUSTIN, TEXAS Public comment will be allowed in-person or remotely via telephone. Speakers may only register to speak on an item once either in-person or remotely and will be allowed up to three minutes to provide their comments. Registration no later than noon the day before the meeting is required for remote participation by telephone. There were no speakers APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. 2. June 29, 2022 August 15, 2022 MOTION: Approve the minutes on a motion by Commissioner Heimsath, seconded by Commissioner Valenzuela. Vote 3-0. DISCUSSION ITEMS 3. ULI Technical Assistance Panel update Recommendations from the draft TAP report aligned closely with the equity- based preservation plan’s draft recommendations ULI will send the final report in November. 4. Preservation plan handoff workshop recap Special called Commission meeting canceled due to lack of quorum. Attendees had an informal conversation about helpful clarifications to the draft plan; no major changes were discussed. City Council fully funded the equity-based preservation plan for FY23. 5.
