I will be out of town, so am unable to attend. I would like to explain the necessity for the demolition. The house is in disrepair and poses a liability and financial hazard if it remains. The owner's insurance company will no longer insure the property. Therefore, if anything happens to the property or a person on the property, the owner is at risk. She has tried to keep up with the home over the years but does not have the means to get it to an insurable state. The structure, including the floor and roof framing, is deteriorated beyond repair. It would need to be completely rebuilt. I've attached some pictures. I would like this information shared along with the pictures at the historical meeting.
