Additional Backup Information: Balcones Ridge Resiliency, LLC, a subsidiary of Jupiter Power LLC, on behalf of LCRA Transmission Services Corporation, a Texas not-for-profit corporation of the Lower Colorado River Authority, seeks to purchase from the City an electric transmission easement across the City-owned property located at 18524 FM 969, Austin, Texas 78653, along Blake Manor Road, to support the transmission of up to 100 megawatts of electricity from a utility-scale battery facility. This 100-megawatt utility-scale energy storage project will assist in stabilizing the energy grid and support Austin's clean energy goals. The sale consists of approximately 10.014 acres (436,210 square feet) of electric transmission easement out of section 27, John B. Walters Survey, Abstract No. 25 and section 56, Richard Duty Survey, Abstract No. 215 in in Travis County, Texas and being a portion of Tract 1 and Tract 13 conveyed to the City of Austin, Texas in Volume 10098, Page 617, recorded February 10, 1987 in the Real Property Records of Travis County, Texas; a portion of that certain 22.29 acre tract conveyed to the City of Austin, Texas in Volume 3837, Page 1164, recorded April 28, 1970 in the Deed Records of Travis County, Texas; and a portion of that certain 13.95 tract conveyed to the City of Austin, Texas in Volume 3792, page 253, recorded January 15, 1970 in the Deed Records of Travis County, Texas. The easement will be conveyed to LCRA Transmission Services Corporation at closing. An independent, third-party appraisal was procured to establish the fair market value of the proposed disposition. The appraisal supports the sales price of $184,258.
