APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. Approve the minutes of the Electric Utility Commission Regular Called Meeting on August 10, 2026. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS 2. Recommend approval authorizing Austin Energy to issue non-contractual rebates during Fiscal Year 2026-2027 for multifamily, commercial, and residential programs that support solar and other distributed energy resources, energy efficiency, and beneficial electrification in amounts that exceed the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 City Manager’s spending authority. Funding: $23,475,000 is available in the Operating Budget of Austin Energy. 3. Recommend approval authorizing a contract for construction services for the District Cooling Plant No.1 Condenser Water System Replacement with Flintco LLC, in the amount of $24,850,775 plus a $2,485,078 contingency for a total contract amount not to exceed $27,335,853. Funding: $27,335,853 is available in the Capital Budget of Austin Energy. 4. Recommend approval authorizing two contracts for 19 percent aqueous ammonia, required for the catalytic reduction systems to operate properly, for Austin Energy with Baker Services, Inc. and GC3 Specialty Chemicals Inc., for an initial term of two years with up to three one-year extension options in an amount not to exceed $1,210,000. Funding: $20,167 is available in the Operating Budget of Austin Energy. $242,000 is available in the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Operating Budget of Austin Energy. Funding for the remaining contract term is contingent upon available funding in future budgets. 5. Recommend approval authorizing five contracts for distribution electrical services for Austin Energy with Gridco, Inc., MasTec North America, Inc., Pike Corporation d/b/a Pike Electric LLC or Power Contracting LLC, Renegade Group, LLC d/b/a Renegade Well Services, LLC or Renegade Well Services, and Southeast Power Corporation, for an initial term of two years with up to three one-year extension options in an amount not to exceed $200,000,000, divided among the contracts. Funding: $80,000,000 is available in the Capital Budget of Austin Energy. Funding for the remaining contract term is contingent upon available funding in future budgets. 6. Recommend approval authorizing a contract for generator rotor purchase and assembly for Austin Energy with WEG Electric Corp., in an amount not to exceed $1,750,000. Funding: $550,000 is available in the Capital Budget. $1,200,000 is available in the Operating Budget of Austin Energy. 7. Recommend approval authorizing a contract for fiber network services for Austin Energy with Logix Holding Company d/b/a Logix Fiber Networks, for an initial term of one year with up to one one- year extension option in an amount not to exceed $600,000. Funding: $25,000 is available in the Operating Budget of Austin Energy. $300,000 is available in the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Operating Budget of Austin Energy. Funding for the remaining contract term is contingent upon available funding in future budgets. 8. Recommend approval authorizing a contract for emergency and non-emergency spill response, clean-up and restoration services for Austin Energy with Triumvirate Environmental Services, LLC for an initial term of two years with up to three additional one-year extension options in an amount not to exceed $2,500,000. Funding: $350,000 is available in the Operating Budget of Austin Energy. Funding for the remaining contract term is contingent upon available funding in future budgets. 9. Recommend approval authorizing an amendment to a contract for continued data acquisition and handling system technical emissions monitoring software support services for Austin Energy with CEMTEK Environmental, Inc./KVB Enertec, to increase the amount by $550,000 for a revised total contract amount not to exceed $860,749. Funding: $550,000 is available in the Capital Budget of Austin Energy. 10. Recommend approval authorizing the negotiation and execution of all documents and instruments necessary or desirable to grant an electric transmission easement across 10.014 acres (436,210 square feet) of the City-owned property located at 18524 FM 969, Austin, Texas 78653 to LCRA Transmission Services Corporation, a not-for-profit company of the Lower Colorado River Authority, for an amount not less than $184,258, to support a battery tolling project of Austin Energy and Balcones Ridge Resiliency, LLC, a subsidiary of Jupiter Power, LLC. Funding: The sale is projected to result in $184,258 of additional revenue to the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Operating Budget of Austin Energy. 11. Recommend approval of a resolution authorizing the filing of eminent domain proceedings and payment to acquire a permanent electric transmission and distribution easement for Austin Energy needed for the Capital Express Central CKT823, 834, & 835 Structure Relocation 2021 Project requiring the acquisition of a permanent easement consisting of approximately 0.0096 acres (419 square feet) of land out of Outlots 20 and 21, Division “C”, City of Austin, Travis County, being a portion of Lot 2, Block 2, Resubdivision of Block 5, Plainview Heights, a subdivision of record in Book 4, Page 53, Plat Records, Travis County, Texas, said Lot 2 conveyed to Ronald E. Savitsky, Jr., and Kandace S.
