Additional Backup Information: The contract amendment will increase contract authority allowing Austin Energy to add the Cascade Facility Ratings module to the existing Cascade utility asset management software solution. The Cascade software allows Austin Energy to monitor critical assets, tracking age, usage, and maintenance history. Cascade uses data analytics, predictive maintenance and preventive maintenance, to minimize the risk of equipment failure, while maximizing equipment lifetimes. The results are seen in gained efficiency, lower risk and reduced costs, with maximum uptime and reliability of service for Austin Energy. The Cascade Facility Ratings module will allow Austin Energy to manage the electric system facilities to comply with the North American Electric Reliability Corp ) requirements by providing change management, approval management, historical records management and reporting capabilities.
