Procurement Language: Austin Financial Services issued a Request for Proposals solicitation RFP 1100 DCM3038 for these services. The solicitation was published on July 28, 2025, and closed on September 18, 2025. Of the eleven offers received, the proposal submitted by the recommended contractor represented best value to the City based on the solicitation’s evaluation criteria. Additional Backup Information: The contract will provide maintenance, replacement, and repair of all current and future electric vehicle charging stations in the Austin Energy Plug-In EVerywhere™ network and at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Services include preventative and standard maintenance, including emergency repair services and will ensure the electric vehicle charging stations continue to provide reliable energy and excellent Item 5customer service to electric vehicle drivers. The contract replaces a previous contract that expired December 10, 2025. The requested authorization is based on departmental estimates, historical spend, and forecasted usage. The recommended contractor is not the current provider for these services. An evaluation team with expertise in this area evaluated the offers and scored National Car Charging, LLC. as the best to provide these services based on project concept and strategy, offer experience, price, small business preference and local business presence. Without this contract Austin Energy and Austin Aviation would be unable to repair and maintain its critical public infrastructure of electric vehicle supply equipment.
