Rationale: Dear Honorable Mayor & City Council, This letter is to confirm the Design Commission’s support of the City of Austin Central EMS/Fire Station as presented to us. Our review found the following attributes: 1. Protects and restores existing historic structure. 2. Addition is clearly differentiated from existing structure 3. 4. Meets LEED requirements for sustainability 5. Inclusion of public artwork.
