No citizens were signed up to speak 1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – December 11, 2019 Motion to approve the December 11th, 2019 meeting minutes made by Commissioner DasGupta, seconded by Commissioner Yeatts passed on a vote of 7‐0‐2‐1, with Commissioners Alexander and Floyd abstaining and Commissioner Reinhardt off the dias. 2. STAFF AND COMMUNITY BRIEFINGS (A member of the public may not address a board at a meeting on an item posted as a briefing) a. Communications & Technology Management Department Update (Stephen Elkins, Communications and Technology Management) This item did not occur due to a scheduling conflict. b. Improving the resident experience with City forms (Daniel Honker, Soolin Withrow, and Andrew Do, Communications and Technology Management) The presentation can be viewed here. 3. COMMISSION UPDATES (Discussion and Possible Action) a. Digital Inclusion, Civic Engagement, and Strategic Technology and Telecom Policy Working Group Chair Pitts gave updates on the GTOPs 2020 process, including an update on GTOPs Capacity applications received thus far as well as an update that a DECA meeting had occurred that day. This working group discussed membership as well. Commissioner Syed volunteered to step out. Based on attendance, Commissioner Yanez was removed from the working group. The group will meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 10am. A first make up meeting will be scheduled for Tuesday, January 28th. b. Knowledge, Information, and Data Stewardship Working Group This working group will host a conference call with Janette Goodall of the Clerk’s Office to discuss their effort to make City Council votes tabular. This working group will also host a meeting with APD to discuss the backlog of video transfer to the Travis County prosecutor’s Office. c. Technology, Infrastructure, and Innovation Working Group This group agreed to meet on the first Monday of each month at 4pm. Commissioner Ayman stepped down from this working group. Commissioner DasGupta gave an overview of the One Touch Make Ready call that this working group hosted with San Antonio. John Speirs is collecting notes from all of the commissioners for the call. 4. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS Next Regular Meeting: February 12, 2020 Communications & Technology Management Department Update by Stephen Elkins Presentation on the update to the City Website by Yasmin Wagner 5. ADJOURNMENT Motion to adjourn made by Commissioner DasGupta and seconded by Commissioner Floyd passed on a vote of 10‐0.
