Austin-Travis County Food Plan ATCFPB October 2026 – Staff Update City of Austin Food Plan Updates City Staff Updates ● City staff are preparing a City Council Food Plan Update Memo for October 2026. ● Funding from the MUFPP Award will be released via a RFA in October 2026. Funding announced in December. ● ACAR has hired a new Food and Climate Program Coordinator - Mali Calvo City Staff Updates Implementation Collab ● Next Collaborative Meeting ○ January 22nd at the PDC ● Food Plan Summit ○ Planning has begun for an inaugural Summit in June 2027 ● Sign up to get on the listserve ● St Davids Funding ○ The Implementation Collaborative was informed by St Davids that they would not be receiving any Catalyzing Communities funding ● Work continues on the development of the Implementation Collaborative ‘charter’ City of Austin 2026 Budget Social Service Contract Reset During FY27, the City of Austin will conduct a Council-directed evaluation and redesign of its social services portfolio. As a part of this process, all agreements, regardless of their renewal date, will end on September 30, 2027.
