STIPEND CONTRACT SALARY SALARY Dedicated community members that have demonstrated relationships with their community/neig hborhood that will serve as community liaisons throughout the planning process–hosting community events, canvassing and other forms of outreach Dedicated community members & other food system stakeholders that are interested in/have experience with one specific focus area such as food production. Focus Area Working Groups will develop goals and metrics for the Plan. Dedicated community members, organizers, food business owners & other stakeholders with some connection to the food system that will oversee the planning process, refine goals for the Plan, assist in community outreach & commit to participate for 1-2 years. and lead the development of the Equity Toolkit The Executive Leadership Team will provide strategic direction for the Plan & make final decisions of the content of the Plan, including Goals. Consultant firm(s) will develop & implement project plan, including engagement and drafting of the Plan. Food policy staff will work closely with the consultant to create & implement the project plan, lead the creation of the State of Food System 2022 (Baseline Assessment,) and handle daily tasks. Other COA staff will serve on Advisory Groups. Food Plan & the Austin-Travis County Food Policy Board Proposal ● The Austin-Travis County Food Policy Board will not be the lead or only entity participating in the Austin Food Plan. ● ATCFPB members can self-select how they will participate in the Plan. ● CAC: At least one member from the ATCFPB, will serve on the CAC and serve as the liaison between CAC, ATCFPB and COA food policy staff ○ CAC will be selected using criteria determined by COA staff and the ATCFPB Food Plan WG ● Focus Area: ATCFPB may apply to serves on or as Chair for each of the to-be selected focus areas THANK YOU!
