Public comment will be allowed in person or via telephone. Remote speakers must register in advance (April 18 by Noon). All public comment will occur at the beginning of the meeting. Presentation from Northwest Austin Universal Health Clinic by Dr. Sanjna Malpani. a. April Elections: Discussion and possible action on the election of officers to the Asian American Quality of Life Advisory Commission. b. Discussion and possible action to recommend a City Proclamation declaring May 2022 as Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Heritage Month. 5. INFORMATION SHARING a. Open Mic for Commissioners to share information with each other, especially regarding future agenda and pending deadlines on action items. 6. FUTURE AGENDA a. Staff Briefing on APD Safe Place Initiative by Gui Fung & Christian Mendoza from the Austin Police Department’s Office of Community Liaison. (Confirmed for May 2022). b. Staff Briefing on Disparity Report Outcomes by Eddie Bynog, Public Information Specialist Senior at the Small & Minority Business Resources Department (SMBR) (Tentatively Scheduled for May 2022) c. Language Access Program Update from CPIO (Tentatively June 2022). 7. ADJOURNMENT The City of Austin is committed to compliance with the American with Disabilities Act.
