ASIAN AMERICAN QUALITY OF LIFE COMMISSION March 15th, 2022 at 6:00 PM Austin City Hall Boards & Commissions Room 301 W. 2nd Street, Austin, TX Regular Commission Meeting Agenda Some members of the Commission may be participating by videoconference. Public comment will be allowed in person or via telephone. Remote speakers must register in advance (March 14 by Noon). All public comment will occur at the beginning of the meeting. To speak remotely, residents must: Call or email the Equity Office’s Commission Liaison, Jeremy Garza, at (512) 978-1797 or jeremy.garza@austintexas.gov, no later than noon March 14. The information required is the speaker’s name, item number(s) they wish to speak on, whether they are for/against/neutral, email address and telephone number (must be the same number that will be used to call into the meeting). Discussion and possible action on the election of officers to the Asian American Quality of Life Advisory Commission. c. Discussion and possible action on Commission FY 2023 budget recommendations. d. Discussion and possible action update to commission bylaws (to replace “citizen” with “public” in all official documentation) in accordance with city council directive made effective on February 28th, 2022. 5. Staff Briefing on Disparity Report Outcomes by Eddie Bynog, Public Information Specialist Senior at the Small & Minority Business Resources Department (SMBR) d. Presentation from Northwest Austin Universal Health Clinic by Dr. Sanjna Malpani. e. Language Access Program Update (CPIO) 7.
