Speakers may only register to speak on an item once either in-person or remotely and will be allowed up to three minutes to provide their comments. Presentation by Monica Dangler, Director, Austin Animal Services and Jason Garza, Assistant Director, Austin Animal Services. Staff briefing regarding Dangerous and Vicious Dog classification, declaration, and processing out of shelters. Presentation by Monica Dangler, Director, Austin Animal Services and Rebekha Montie, Program Manager II, Austin Animal Services. DISCUSSION ITEMS 4. Quarterly report from Austin Pets Alive! Presentation by Mara Hartsell, Quality of Care Director, Austin Pets Alive! and Rory Adams, Director of Strategic Customer Service, Austin Pets Alive! Discussion regarding the Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) Intake Testing Policy for cats Austin Animal Services memo. 5. WORKING GROUP RECOMMENDATIONS 6. Final update from the off-leash dog working group regarding their recommendations for commissioners. DICUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS 7. 8. Creation of a working group exploring compliance with the Texas Health and Safety Chapter 8-23. Creation of a working group to study the emergency intake procedures at Austin Animal Services.
