Staff briefing regard an update on Office of Civil Rights Support (Pantoja/Alexander) 3. Staff update on Attendance for the quarter, year to date and review Texas Open Meeting Act Requirements (Pantoja) 4. Staff update on new Agenda Formatting (Pantoja) DISCUSSION ITEMS 5. Presentation by Sergio Torres-Peralta with Office of Sustainability regarding work towards making Austin’s first-ever Floor Plan. 6. Presentation by Liz Wisecarver regarding the National Federation of the Blind Newsletter program. (Chair Franks and Commissioner Orlowski). 7. Discussion on the Downtown Commission's position on the use of scooters in the downtown areas and its impact on people with disabilities. (Commissioners Broadwater and Orlowski). 8. Discussion regarding a recommendation to require the City of Austin MBWE Program be amended and expanded to include disability. DISCUISSION AND ACTION ITEMS 9. Discussion and possible action on regarding a recommendation to require certified ASL interpreters to be dispatched to a site with deaf survivors. 10. Discussion and possible vote for items in the September Regular Board Meeting FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS ADJOURNMENT The City of Austin is committed to compliance with the American with Disabilities Act.
