SMALL AREA JOINT PLANNING COMMITTEE SPECIAL CALLED MEETING DRAFT MINUTES December 11, 2024 The SMALL AREA JOINT PLANNING COMMITTEE convened in a Meeting on December 11, 2024, at the Permitting and Development Center, Room 3004, 6310 Wilhelmina Delco Dr. in Austin, Texas. Commissioner Floyd called the Small Area Joint Planning Committee Meeting to order at 11:46 a.m. Board Members/Commissioners in Attendance: Ryan Puzyck William D. Floyd Danielle Skidmore Nadia Barrera-Ramirez Board Members/Commissioners in Attendance Remotely: Commissioners , Barrera-Ramirez, Puzyck, and Skidmore attended remotely. PUBLIC COMMUNICATION: GENERAL No one signed up for public communication. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. Approve the minutes of the Small Area Planning Joint Committee meeting on August 14, 2024. The minutes from the meeting of August 14, 2024, were approved on Commissioner Puzyck’s motion, Commissioner Skidmore’s second, on a unanimous vote. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS 2. Discussion and possible action related to the election of a new Chair. On Commissioner Puzycki’s motion, Commissioner Skidmore’s second, Commissioner Floyd was nominated as Chair and unanimously elected to serve. 3. Discussion of SAPJC meeting schedule for 2025 On Commissioner’s Skidmore’s motion, Commissioner’s Barrera-Ramirez’s second, the 2025 meeting schedule was unanimously approved.
