Learn why this is important External Email - Exercise Caution Hi Ana and Tim, First and foremost, please kindly pass along my staunch disapproval for this. I’ve heard over the years everyone wanting this, but nobody wanting it in their backyards…interesting that it’s piled on at this location where we are already doing our part living next to low income housing. This looks like you want it to expand and go up 5 stories. Surely our local government isn’t the kid with the messy room that shoves all the mess into the already messy closet? It seems as though the higher ups are shoving this into this area as a direct result of wanting this but not quite wanting this in their back yard… I’m disheartened that you seemingly spent 15 minutes pointing out to the handful of people on zoom where you’ve previously claimed this is happening as though it’s our fault for being unaware. This is clearly super vague. Even the slides are clearly “pro” rather than informational (i.e. the positive comments in little bubbles). The tax dollars spent on the previous “informational meetings” could’ve been better spent on one through/transparent mailer. Extremely disheartened that it seems as though our current only recourse is to show up at town hall meetings on 3/25 and 4/24. Please advise if this is the only recourse we have at this stage or if there is something else we can do. Also, please provide time and location specifics for the aforementioned provided dates.
