CALL TO ORDER‐ Meeting called to order @ 5:39 pm.  B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES  1) Motion to Approve Minutes from August 23, 2016 meeting by Jeff Smith Seconded by Pam Thompson.  Motion passed unanimously.        C. CITIZEN COMMUNICATION  1) No Citizen Communication   D. NEW BUSINESS:  BRIEFING, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION  1) Task Force subcommittee organization, structure and appointments. No new subcommittees appointed.  2)  Recommend an appointment to the Visitor Impact Task Force to City Council.  James Russell was nominated by Rick Cofer received a second from Colin Wallis, Motion passed unanimously.      E. OLD BUSINESS:  BRIEFING, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION   1) Impacts and impact reduction measures, policies, or practices of special events regarding impact mitigation on surrounding neighborhoods, areas and businesses.  Task Force discussed and agreed to bring forward recommendations for public input on 9/13/16.   2) Special event policies related to event day or use limits, process, scheduling, and coordination. Task Force discussed and agreed to bring forward recommendations for public input on 9/13/16.       3) Discussion of Green Event policies. Motion to incorporate changes into Green Events recommendation by Jeff Smith received a second from James Russell, motion passed unanimously.    4) Task Force input regarding the City of Austin draft Special Events Ordinance. Task Force Discussed, no formal action taken.  5) Status of task force member requests from previous meetings and upcoming meeting schedule. No Formal Action Taken.    G. ADJOURNMENT – Meeting Adjourned @ 8:54 pm.
