Description of Recommendation to Council The Municipal Civil Service Commission has nominated Teresa Peréz-Wiseley as Chair of the Municipal Civil Service Commission for the remainder of the term identified in Council Resolution 20200611-058. Rationale: The MCS Commission is a five-member commission established by the City Charter that, among other things, hears appeals and makes final, binding decisions in the case of any municipal civil service employee who is discharged, suspended, demoted, denied a promotion, or put on disciplinary probation. Vote: Approved on a 4-0 vote with 1 commission member absent.
