COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION Joint Sustainability Committee Recommendation 20210428-2D –PM2.5 Emissions Reduction Recommendation The JSC recognizes the public health problems caused by PM pollution and that communities of color are disproportionately impacted. The Committee recommends that the Austin City Council take action as recommended by the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG) to reduce PM pollution and that those actions include measures to reduce PM from construction sites, unpaved parking lots and roadways.
