The recommended changes apply to the single member districts geography that was adopted and certified by the Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission (ICRC) on October 27, 2021 (XKORE2028). Staff has compiled ordinance information as well as case numbers and other pertinent information for all annexed and disannexed areas that were identified as being at variance with city limits. Variance 9: C7AD-1989-070 (Ord # 890629-O) - Census Tract 326 https://www.austintexas.gov/edims/document.cfm?id=9508 This territory was disannexed in 1989 in the wake of legislation that required the City of Austin to disannex certain parcels upon the owner’s request. The parcel was erroneously included in the single member district geography created in 2014.
