Commissioner Blank joined the meeting at 6:21 p.m. CITIZEN COMMUNICATION: GENERAL The first three speakers who register to speak no later than noon the day before the meeting will be allowed a three-minute allotment to address their concerns regarding items not posted on the agenda. Peck Young addressed the ICRC. 1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Discussion and possible action on the July 28, 2021, ICRC meeting minutes. Minutes approved. The July 28, 2021, meeting minutes were approved without objection. 2. UNFINISHED BUSINESS The ICRC may discuss and take action on the following agenda items A. Update from Public Forum Working Group 1. Calendar changes 2. Maps for printouts Vice Chair Gonzalez gave update. Vice Chair Gonzalez announced officially removing Commissioner Lands from the Public Forum Working Group and replacing him with Commissioner Yee. George Korbel gave the update on maps. B. Update from City 1. Emails/contracts Matt Dugan gave the update. 3. NEW BUSINESS The ICRC may discuss and take action on the following agenda items A. Presentation from Travis County Voter Registration Director Gretchen Nagy presented maps of Travis County voting precincts with two or three City Council Districts within them. B. Update from Communications Working Group Commissioner Calderón gave the update. C. Update from Hiring Working Group No updates. D. Update from Finance Subcommittee Commissioner Morris gave the update. E. Update from Final Report Subcommittee Commissioner Kannon gave the update. F. Housekeeping Chair Puentes clarified line of communication response regarding emails from the public to the commission. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS • Presentation by Austin Independent School District • Working group and subcommittee updates and possible action • Housekeeping item ADJOURNMENT Chair Puentes adorned meeting at 7:07 p.m. without objection.
