COMPREHENSIVE PLAN JOINT COMMITTEE draft Minutes REGULAR MEETING May 27, 2021 The Comprehensive Plan Joint Committee convened in a regular meeting on May 27, 2021 at a virtual meeting. The meeting was called to order at 1:18 p.m. Joint Committee Members in Attendance: Planning Commission Zoning and Platting Commission Carmen Llanes Pulido Grayson Cox Yvette Flores Rob Schneider City Staff in Attendance: Matt Dugan, Housing and Planning Department Dee Dee Quinnelly, Housing and Planning Department Lacy Patterson, Housing and Planning Department Tina Van Wie, Financial Services Department Mani Kumar, Public Works Department Ming-Ru Chu, Public Works Department Others in Attendance: None. 1. CITIZEN COMMUNICATION: GENERAL None. 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A motion was made to approve the minutes from the August 29, 2019 meeting by Commissioner Flores, seconded by Commissioner Llanes Pulido. Vote 4-0. Commissioners Smith, Bray, and Acosta were absent. a. Vote to elect new Chair and Vice-Chair (Discussion and action). A motion was made to appoint Commissioner Flores Chair of the Joint Committee by Commissioner Schneider, seconded by Commissioner Cox. Vote 4-0. Commissioners Smith, Bray, and Acosta were absent b. Briefing on Long-Range CIP Planning (Discussion and/or possible action). No action 3. NEW BUSINESS taken. 4. OLD BUSINESS 1 a. None. 5. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS Future agenda items will NOT be discussed at the current meeting, but will be offered for initiation, discussion, and/or possible recommendation to the full Planning Commission at a FUTURE meeting.
