COMPREHENSIVE PLAN JOINT COMMITTEE draft Minutes The Comprehensive Plan Joint Committee convened in a regular meeting on April 11, 2019 at REGULAR MEETING August 29, 2019 City Hall, Room 2152, 301 W 2nd Street, Austin, TX 78701. The meeting was called to order at 12:04 p.m. Joint Committee Members in Attendance: Planning Commission Zoning and Platting Commission Carmen Llanes Pulido Ana Aguirre Bruce Evans Todd Shaw Hank Smith Yvette Flores City Staff in Attendance: Matt Dugan, Planning and Zoning Department Derica Peters, Planning and Zoning Department Others in Attendance: None. 1. CITIZEN COMMUNICATION: GENERAL None. 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A motion was made to approve the minutes from the May 23, 2019 meeting by Commissioner Flores, seconded by Commissioner Smith. Vote 6-0. Commissioner Kazi was absent. a. Presentation on draft 2019 Imagine Austin Annual Report (Discussion and/or possible action). Matt Dugan and Derica Peters with the Planning and Zoning Department presented the draft 2019 Imagine Austin Annual Report including, the progress of the Priority Program teams, implementation highlights and the action matrix. The new format of the report is online and interactive. No action was taken. b. What members would like the committee to accomplish; this will inform drafting a one year work plan (Discussion and/or possible action). Members discussed working on improvements to metrics, incentive programs, Transit Oriented Development (TOD) incentives, and looking at creek headwaters. No action was taken. 3. NEW BUSINESS 4.
