CITY OF AUSTIN PERMITTING AND DEVELOPMENT CENTER, 1401/1402 6310 WILHELMINA DELCO DR AUSTIN, TEXAS Some members of the Age Friendly Advisory Committee may be participating by videoconference. Public comment will be allowed in-person or remotely via telephone. Speakers may only register to speak on an item once either in-person or remotely and will be allowed up to three minutes to provide their comments. Registration no later than noon the day before the meeting is required for remote participation by telephone. STAFF BRIEFINGS 1. Staff briefing regarding the 2026-2030 Age-Friendly Austin (AFA) Action Plan current status and plan implementation timeline. Presentation by Nicole Alexander, Age Friendly Program Coordinator, and Halana Kaleel, Public Health Community Engagement Specialist, Austin Public Health DISCUSSION ITEMS 2. Discussion and review of the final draft of the Age Friendly Austin Action Plan for 2026-2030. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS 3. Discussion and possible action on the Commission on Aging’s action plans for the AFAP 2026- 2030. 4. Discussion and possible action on edits on the Commission on Aging Build, Bridge, and Champion Framework for the Age-Friendly Austin Action Plan (2026–2030). 5. Discussion and possible action on amending the 2026 meeting schedule for the Age Friendly Advisory Committee. 6. Discussion and possible action on adopting the 2027 meeting schedule for the Age Friendly Advisory Committee.
