Public comment will be allowed in-person or remotely via telephone. Speakers may only register to speak on an item once either in-person or remotely and will be allowed up to three minutes to provide their comments. Registration no later than noon the day before the meeting is required for remote participation by telephone. If necessary, the Commission will go into closed session, as permitted by law regarding any item on this agenda AGENDA CALL TO ORDER PUBLIC COMMUNICATION: GENERAL The first 10 speakers signed up prior to the meeting being called to order will each be allowed a three- minute allotment to address their concerns regarding items not posted on the agenda. Hear and take action on Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS) Chief Robert Luckritz’ recommendation to the Commission for the involuntary demotion of ATCEMS Clinical Specialist-Field Alexandra May to Medic-Field. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ITEMS 3. Discussion and possible action regarding the request of an Austin Fire Department candidate to the Commission to appoint three-member boards per Chapter 143.022(c) LGC for another mental or physical examination. Discussion and possible action regarding the request of an Austin Fire Department candidate to the Commission to appoint three-member boards per Chapter 143.022(c) LGC for another mental examination.
