Our Goals The mayor and council shall work with the commission to set priorities and goals for each new bond issue to be submitted to the voters. The commission shall advise the council on proposed bonds and the implementation of projects approved in bond elections. Our Mission The commission shall monitor the city manager's plans relating to the issuance of bonds and the implementation of projects approved in bond elections, including the review of future potential bonds, the annual appropriation of bond funds, and any changes in the amount of bond funds issues or cash commitments made. Bond Oversight Commission Spicewood Springs Spicewood Springs tree  trimming is complete.   Pole replacements  started in April and will  be complete by August  2022. In April 2022, City Council approved the transfer of funds  from Parmer Lane project to the re‐defined Lakeline  Boulevard Expansion project which will improve the  connection between West Parmer Lane and Capital Metro  Lakeline Station Park and Ride. Design is expected to begin  this summer using Campo Grant Funds. Construction will  utilize the 2016 Bond funds, expected to begin late 2024. This is the 12th completed intersection. Bond Oversight Commission As part of the Longhorn Dam project, interim  improvements along Pleasant Valley Road include  a shared use pathway and two PHBs. A new sidewalk was constructed along Exposition  Blvd. Urban Trails ‐ $26M Safe Routes to School ‐ $27.5M Substandard Streets ‐ $11M Northern Walnut Creek Trail Phase 2A is under  construction. The 1.7‐mile trail will provide a  grade‐separated crossing of North Lamar Blvd.  River Oaks Elementary School has a new  sidewalk on Willow Wild Drive from W. Parmer  Lane to Old Cedar lane.
