Medina-Leal and Yung-ju Kim abstain); motion fails, DENIED. FINDING: 1. The Zoning regulations applicable to the property do not allow for a reasonable use because: this is a very odd lot configuration as well as a very odd street configuration in having such a trapezoidal shape, would be very difficult with current house placement to offer any kind of covered parking. 2. (a) The hardship for which the variance is requested is unique to the property in that: some ways in that the trapezoidal shape makes it very difficult to have any kind of protrusion in the front yard. (b) The hardship is not general to the area in which the property is located because: as it is greatly affected by heritage trees that are not within the property line. 3. The variance will not alter the character of the area adjacent to the property, will not impair the use of adjacent conforming property, and will not impair the purpose of the regulations of the zoning district in which the property is located because: as the existing driveway will remain in its configuration as well as the screening for the heritage trees that are not actually located on the property and will be built in a manner of material of the existing house.
