Austin Energy opposes approving this request until further detail regarding clearances can be provided. While the request is similar to others approved in the area, for complete assurance, Austin Energy requests that the owner/applicant provide elevations of the proposed new structure, showing the building is able to meet the minimum horizontal clearance of 7 feet 5 inches from the outmost conductor, as required by Austin Energy’s Design Criteria Section 1.10.0 (clearance & safety requirements).
