ACME Funding Appeals Process ▪ Appeals: Applicants have 10 business days after award announcements to submit official appeal. Form Link will be in Award Notifications ▪ Only three reasons for an eligible appeal (Appendix C of Guidelines) ▪ Panel Administration error ▪ Conflict of Interest ▪ Reviewer or staff error ▪ Appeals Process ▪ Appeal Eligibility Review – ACME staff screens the appeal to determine whether it meets the established grounds. If eligible, the appeal moves to the next step. ▪ Appeal Considerations – Appeal requests are reviewed by ACME staff and the Appeals Working Group. ▪ Recommendation and Decision – ACME staff to the Appeals Working Group make decisions on the appeals based on the above criteria. The decision is then communicated in writing to the appellant. ▪ All decisions are final. ▪ Appeals Working Group (2 Arts Commissioners, 2 Music Commissioners) ▪ Working Group Recommendations will go to Arts Commission meeting for approval 1
