ART IN PUBLIC PLACES PANEL Regular Meeting Minutes The Art in Public Places Panel convened a regular meeting on Monday, July 6, 2026, virtual regular meeting. Chari Kristi-Anne Shaer called the meeting to order at 6:03 PM. Panel Members in Attendance: Kristi-Anne Shaer – Chair, Vice Chair – Lindsey Millikan, Heidi Schmalbach – Arts Commission Liaison, Bernardo Diaz, Andrew Danziger and Camille Jobe. Panel Members Absent: Fatima Carbajal. Staff in Attendance: AIPP Manager: Jaime Castillo; AIPP Coordinator Senior: Rebecca Rende and Alex Irrera. PUBLIC COMMUNICATION: GENERAL None. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. The minutes of the Art in Public Places Panel Regular Meeting on June 1, 2026. Lindsey Millikan made a motion to approve of the minutes from Art in Public Places Regular Panel Meeting on Monday, June 1, 2026, Bernardo Diaz seconded. Motion passes 4-0. Arts Commissioner Heidi Schmalbach and Camille Jobe abstained. STAFF BRIEFINGS 2. Staff briefing regarding Art in Public Places Program, including Conservation, Current Projects and Milestones. Approve a recommendation regarding updates to the Art in Public Places Guidelines and Policies per City Council Resolution No. 20250306-029. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS • Special Called Art in Public Places Panel meeting for Art in Public Places artwork Crosswalk on the Lake by Mery Godigna Collet and Luis R. Gutierrez deaccession per TXDOT memo October 8, 2025. ADJOURNMENT Kristi-Anne Shaer adjourned the Meeting at 8:22 PM. The minutes were approved at the August 3, 2026 meeting on Commissioner Heidi Schmalbach’s motion, Panel Member Bernardo Diaz second on a 5-0 vote. Vice Chair Lindsey Millikan was absent.
