The RFQ was approved by Arts Commission on September 18, 2023. Notice of the public art opportunity was posted through usual methods as well as through Social Media channels, EDD newsletter and through PublicArtist.org. The opportunity opened on November 6, 2023, with a submission deadline of December 19, 2023. 15 artists applied, and 5 were eligible for review by the selection panel. The project budget is $70,000. The Jury was supported by staff Meghan Wells - Cultural Arts Division Manager; Lindsay Hutchens - AIPP Coordinator; and Ryan Runcie - AIPP Coordinator. 1.
