Chair Walker called the Austin Integrated Water Resource Planning Community Task Force Meeting to order at 12:04 p.m. Members in Attendance: Chair Jennifer Walker, Vice Chair Robert Mace, Madelline Mathis, Paul DiFiore, and Sarah Faust Members in Attendance Remotely: Hani Michel and Leah Martinsson PUBLIC COMMUNICATION: GENERAL None. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. Approve the minutes of the Austin Integrated Water Resource Planning Community Task Force Regular Called Meeting on December 9, 2025. The minutes from the Austin Integrated Water Resource Planning Community Task Force regular called meeting on December 9, 2025, were approved on Member DiFiore’s motion, Vice Chair Mace’s second on a 7-0 vote. Members Todd Bartee and Perry Lorenz absent. STAFF BRIEFINGS 2. 3. 4. Staff briefing regarding Update on Lower Colorado River and Highland Lakes water supply conditions. The presentation was made by Emily Rafferty, Program Manager, Austin Water. Staff briefing regarding CY25 Q4 Water Management Strategy Implementation Report. The presentation was made by Kevin Kluge, Water Conservation Division Manager, Austin Water. Staff briefing regarding Aquifer Storage and Recovery and Brackish Groundwater Desalination Field Testing and Community Engagement plan. The presentation was made by Marisa Flores Gonzalez, Water Resources Team Supervisor, Austin Water. 1 ADJOURNMENT Chair Walker adjourned the meeting at 1:58pm. The meeting minutes were approved at the June 9, 2026, meeting on Vice Chair Mace’s motion, Member DiFiore’s second on a 7-0 vote with two vacancies. Task Force Members Michel and Mathis absent. 2
