Additional Backup Information: This contract will provide a comprehensive services agreement that includes all aspects of maintenance, service repair, updates, training and parts. Austin Aviation’s public address system is vital to the safety of passengers, tenants and employees during emergencies and evacuations, while enhancing operational efficiency by providing flight updates, gate changes, and passenger information. The public address system is also used to ensure clear, timely, and understandable communication amidst noisy, large environments, guiding people and managing disruptions effectively. This contract aligns directly with Austin Aviation’s goal of improving operational resiliency while providing safe and secure travel for the flying public. Ford Audio-Video Systems, LLC is a trained and certified installer and integrator for all AtlasIED GLOBALCOM products available to end users in the transportation market. The assurance plan provided is the industry’s highest level preventative maintenance plan and Ford Audio-Video Systems maintains the highest-level certification for the system, Enterprise System Integrator. If this contract is not approved, Austin Aviation will not be able to operate and maintain the public address system within the Barbara Jordan Terminal.
