The solicitation was issued on February 17, 2025, and closed on March 13, 2025. Of the four offers received, the recommended contractor submitted the sole responsive offer. Access must be strictly controlled at all access points to maintain compliance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations and ensure the safety of employees and the public. This contract will ensure that perimeter security is maintained by utilizing functional secure access points while extending the expected lifespan of equipment through preventative maintenance. This contract will replace the current contract which expires on September 28, 2025. Estimates are based on historical usage and planned development. The recommended contractor is not the current provider for these services. If this contract is not approved, Aviation would be at risk of non-compliance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations while losing the ability to strictly control perimeter security.
